Si Como No Ranch has 4000 acres of sweeping Hill Country views, three lakes and six miles of picturesque Miller Creek, all just 50 miles from Austin and 60 miles from San Antonio. Splash in a 200 foot long rock lined swimming hole next to 150 million year old dinosaur footprints and 30 million year old fossils. Lounge beneath a 400 year old live oak tree or simply gaze at the scores of buffalo, wildebeests, elk, and other exotic animals that roam this beautiful hill country ranch. Grill on the back porch, or trek to nearby Lone Man Mountain, where you can enjoy 360 degree Hill Country views.
If you’d like a more active schedule, you can play ping pong, darts, a short game of disc golf, horseshoes, washers, volley ball or play tennis on our old single court. Hit golf balls at the golf driving range or practice putting on our putting green. We even have a professional grade obstacle course to test your strength and ability. Or maybe just watch the activity on our over sized swing set. All of these activities are within easy walking distance of the lodge. For the even more adventurous you can mountain bike the miles of ranch roads, catch and release fishing at our stocked fishing lakes, paddle boarding, canoeing and swimming at our two large lakes. There is an extensive paintball course available and a 50 yard shooting range with skeet throwers.
If you want to experience what it feels like to own a historic Texas ranch – and play at the same card tables where President Lyndon Johnson reportedly once held court or stand where Texas Rangers fought one last great battle with the Comanche – the Si Como No ranch is the right destination. You won’t find a better place to “get away from it all,” even if you never leave the porch.
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by Ranch Manager Paul Diehl, whose passion is to treat visitors to some good 'ole Texan hospitality and share tales about the ranch’s history. You’ll trade formality for an authentic ranch experience, as you are swept back in time by the Main Lodge, which sleeps up to twenty in two bedrooms and two bunk rooms. We can accommodate three more guests at a small matching cabin nearby for an additional fee.
For guests wishing to partake in additional activities such as wildlife tours, fishing, boating, paint ball or the shooting range, you just need to make reservations. Some activities do require additional costs. We have hosted several groups including Church Retreats, Private School Field Trips, Team Building Events, Company Meetings and Gatherings, Weddings, Family Reunions and Youth Groups.
